The Scary Old-School Doctors — A Couple I Met Are Type 2 Diabetic — Their MD Prescribed To Eat A High-Carb/Fiber Diet

My jaw almost dropped to the floor when the couple told me this news — they’re Australian, about 65, and quite overweight.

Their primary care doc finally diagnosed them as diabetic, which should have happened long ago.

That’s scary news to many folks because most are either diabetic or pre-diabetic, but they don’t know it. Sadly, it’s an ever-growing massive problem today.

All you need to do is look around and see for yourself. The majority are overweight, which means they’re on their way to becoming diabetic and obese.

The cause of weight gain, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and heart disease

It all boils down to 1 thing — SUGAR.

Sugar is in everything except meat, fish, seafood, eggs, and healthy animal fats.

The process works like this in your body, which slowly makes you sick:

Grains: Wheat, barley, corn, rice, rye, and oats are all loaded with carbs.

Carbs: All food made with grains is high-carb which converts to glucose (sugar) in your bloodstream.

Glucose = Sugar: The more carb and sugar-loaded foods and drinks you consume, the bigger you’ll get, and the harder your pancreas must pump insulin to remove the sugar from your bloodstream, transporting it to your fat cells — triglycerides.

Plain Sugar: Every snack, dessert, candy, or cake you eat is full of sugar. The food manufacturers also add sugar to most of their “foods” to enhance the taste and make you addicted, so you return for more. And the same happens as above — you become heavier and sick.

The result: You become fatter every day, your pancreas eventually breaks down, and you become insulin resistant, a type 2 diabetic, obese, and on your way to heart disease and early death.

So why would a medical doctor prescribe a high-carb sugar diet to type 2 diabetes patients?

The answer is simple yet scary: Old-school medical doctors know nothing about nutrition as they are not taught about this vital subject in medical school.

They are taught how to diagnose, operate, and prescribe meds.

When I explained to the couple that a high-carb and low-protein diet is the last thing they need and why I was afraid they might have a heart attack.

They were visibly shocked, worried, and disturbed.

So I decided to spend an hour and gave them a free consultation. I explained food and drinks’ effects on the body and mind and which are best to reverse T2 diabetes, lose weight, and fully regain health.

Now, I will meet them again, devote my time and help them get back on the right path to health. It’s my passion to help. 

Final Thoughts

If you have diabetes, shooting insulin in your blood for the rest of your life while eating junk food will not help!

You must get to the root of the problem: Your diet and lifestyle practices.

1 — Please stop eating sugar and any food or drink containing it. That’s not easy, but you can do it.

2 — Follow a high-protein, low-carb diet, exercise moderately and regularly, get good sleep, and sun exposure.
