The daily battle with the carb lovers is real - they hate that I say, "you don't need carbs."

It’s astonishing how angry folks can get over words, especially if they go against their beliefs or, rather, their addictions.

Another fascinating observation is how laymen feel the need to lecture educated, experienced experts with long and successful track records.

I used to wonder why that is. However, I’ve long since understood they’re only projecting their anger and jealousy on others — they can’t help it.

Anger:

They strongly disagree — even hate — what you’ve dared to say.

I’m 100% anti-carbohydrates and have consumed less than 25g of them daily for 7 years — I’m a fat burner!

As a result, I’m super healthy, fit, strong, full of energy, and never sick.

It’s simple: You do not need to consume carbs — protein and saturated fat are the human body’s preferred fuel source.

Jealousy:

I’m guessing these folks are jealous as they don’t have what I have — a healthy fit body, mind, and happiness.

There’s little I can do to discourage their anger and jealousy unless they listen to and follow my advice. If they did, they’d soon see how much better they’d look and feel.

My mission and passion

My mission as a writer, certified nutritionist, and metabolic health coach is to help as many folks worldwide regain optimal health and inspire and motivate them to live a fantastic life.

I’ve done just that with hundreds of clients in person, online, and with my E-Books since I started my new life and health journey.

I didn’t choose my new career path. It came to me in 2015 because of my terrible metabolic and mental health at the time. 

Coincidence? I don’t think so. Everything in life happens for a reason.

I strongly believe in that quote — it proves itself right time and again.

My dangerous health decline

I was down and out, severely overweight, depressed, constantly sick, and on 10 different meds.

The final straw and wake-up call was a stroke in late 2015.

Now, when you’ve gone through what I have in life, and if you’re not stupid, you learn many valuable lessons along the way.

You then can accept those lessons as experiences giving you a chance to better yourself — in body and mind.

Again, that’s exactly what I chose to do. Instead of remaining in my sad rabbit hole, I took action.

So, I stood up and told myself to do something about my terrible condition — now!

I didn’t fancy staying on the meds for life, getting fatter, more depressed and sick, winding up with another stroke, or having a heart attack.

Opening my mind and learning from experts turned my health around

One day, my solution came to me in an email — a completely different approach to food, fitness, and lifestyle practices.

Immediately, I signed up for the course and studied like mad for months. It was fascinating for both body and mind.

What I learned about food seemed unbelievable — it was essentially the opposite of what you and I’ve been told to eat our entire lives.

It stimulated my mind so much that I couldn’t stop studying. Thankfully, I’m a logical thinker — so it didn’t take long to make perfect sense.

Here’s how my healing went:

1 Month in:

After ditching all carbs (except those in vegetables) and all sugar, I became a fat burner.

Instead of burning carbohydrates and glucose for fuel, my body started to burn fat cells and the fat I consumed efficiently.

2 Months in:

I lost my excess 60 lbs. body fat and water retention and dropped from pant size 34″ to 29″.

It was a wonderful and happy experience when I realized I had to have all my pants and shirts altered.

3 Months in:

My new training routine got me fit and lean in little time.

 → Using my body as my gym with bodyweight strength training and avoiding the machines in the gym, I built the strongest and leanest body ever.

Even more so than when I was in the Olympic Games in 1988, at 18. Think about that! 

 → Adding 1 weekly sprinting session to the mix intensified the burn, rebuilding even leaner and stronger muscle.

 → My daily walking routine, with moderate strength training and weekly sprints, soon built excellent heart and cardiovascular health.

Note: I achieved optimal body weight, composition, and inner health within 3 months, with NO carbohydrates.

4 — Months in:

One by one, I stopped taking each prescribed medicine as they ran out. I’ve never seen a doctor since and have been med-free for 7 years!

5 — Months in:

By this point, my depression had long since vanished, and I was stable and happy.

However, to reinforce my positive mindset, I studied meditation in Bali and have been practicing meditation ever since.

Meditation, mind-calming exercises, and positive affirmations have been part of my daily lifestyle practices since.

My result at 53?

  • I’ve followed my food, movement, and lifestyle routine for over 7 years.
  • Since I dropped all carbohydrates and sugars, I built and maintained my ideal body and eliminated the demons in my mind.
  • My blood values are excellent, as are my cholesterol levels. In addition, my arteries are clear of calcium plaque buildup.
  • Those 2 critical facts pretty much guarantee I won’t be having another stroke or heart attack anytime soon.

None of this is anecdotal — what I did to myself and others over the past 7 years is hard, time-tested evidence!

Final Thoughts

Dearest Carb Addicts,

I know it’s hard to come off the pleasure and sugar rush. After all, your daily dose of comfort food makes you feel good for a moment or two.

But listen, you don’t need carbs. The opposite is true. 

If you ditch all carbs and sugar as I did 7 years ago, I promise you will live a much healthier and happier life.

Eliminating the sugar from your blood and brain also massively calms your mind and eliminates anger. 

Let me tell you, losing the anger was a wonderful relief and side-effect of my diet.
