But nobody cares, admits, or even knows they are totally sugar-dependent drug addicts.
It’s hard to blame them — everyone eats it, and sugar is added to almost everything. It’s a delicious, mind-soothing sweetener that boosts your mood.
At least that’s what you think, which makes you believe it’s OK to enjoy endless amounts of the stuff.
Did you know the average American adult consumes between 150 to 170 lbs. of sugar per year?
That’s about 20 full-sized bowling balls of the toxic white powder.
Schoolchildren eat around 19 teaspoons of added sugar a day!
“Research has shown that children who consume too much sugar are at increased risk of cardiovascular disease, dental caries, and unhealthy weight gain.” Doc4kids.com
And what is it that parents do? You reward your kids with candies, cakes, and addictive sugary snacks.
This behavior is accepted as entirely normal. When in fact, it’s terrible and should be banned. Parents unknowingly make their young children sugar addicts, causing their immune systems to break down and frequently fall sick.
“Excessive amounts of sugar cause the liver to be overworked, and a bilious attack results.”
“Sugar, syrup, and candy are sometimes made from corn by a peculiar process, by means of which the starch of the corn is changed into glucose, and a kind of sugar not so sweet or healthful as sugar made from sugar cane or sugar beets. This sugar is quite apt to ferment or sour and decay within the bowels, thus causing disease. Some candies are colored with poisonous matter” Dr. William Krohn, 1908
This was known over 100 years ago, yet worldwide sugar consumption today stands at its all-time high, along with obesity and heart disease caused by sugar and carbohydrate-loaded grains.
IFL Science reports that sugarcane is now the world’s third most valuable crop after grains and rice, occupying 26,942,686 hectares of land across the globe.
That’s just crazy. Sugar, known to be a drug, highly addictive, and the cause of serious diseases, is the 3rd largest crop cultivated today.
Based on that number, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to realize the sugar industry is massive and extremely powerful.
Sugar and food manufacturers producing sugar and processed sugar-added foods lobby the governments and support them financially worldwide.
That maintains their equilibrium and profits on track — while your health and body break.
Here’s what white sugar does to your body and mind:
Stresses the pancreas, kidneys, and liver starves the brain of oxygen and causes adrenal weakness, baldness, attention deficit, blindness, tooth decay, high blood pressure, allergies, bone loss, infertility, cataracts, glaucoma, nerve damage (MS), brain damage (Alzheimer’s), senility, kidney failure, diabetes, mood swings, hyperactivity, and arthritis.
How about that for a long scary list of the illnesses and diseases sugar causes?
Brown sugar, palm sugar, syrup, honey, fructose, or any other form of sugar are not far behind and equally damaging to your body and mind.
It’s one of the most addictive and harmful drugs, yet it’s government-sanctioned, and everyone eats it daily.
Final Thoughts and The Solution
1. Eliminating sugar from your diet is the best decision you can make.
2. The second best is to dramatically reduce or cut all forms of grains — rice, wheat, barley — from your diet.
In case you didn’t know, grains are extremely high-carb and convert to glucose (sugar) in your bloodstream.
The excessive amount of glucose in your system has the same catastrophic effect on your body and mind as sugar.
The balanced western or Standard American Diet (SAD) recommends grains as the primary food group and sugar as fine to consume in “moderation.”
They further place the human body’s most vital nutrient, protein, in the form of animal meats, fish, seafood, and eggs, into one of the smallest groups in the food pyramid.
Was the diet purposely designed to make people gain weight and fall sick?
I don’t know the answer to that question, but I do know that the SAD is wrong, and the human body thrives on natural protein and saturated animal fats.
Those are facts, not fiction, which are now finally recognized by thousands of medical doctors and university research institutions, which you may read more about in my article:
