In today’s message, I want to remind you and point out some important facts to remember about the Keto or Carnivore Diet.
Someone told me today that they are worried about going Keto as they read online that the diet lacks fiber and is “unsustainable” in the long run.
Unsustainable?
That’s not correct. I’ve been doing this for nearly 9 years and am healthier than ever at age 53. I know some folks who have been on the diet for more than 25 years – all are super healthy, fit, and motivated never to stop this lifestyle.
Lacking Fiber?
Also incorrect. On the Keto Diet, you can eat all vegetables except for Legumes. Plenty of fiber there.
Yet, the truth is that fiber has long since been proven to be a non-essential nutrient and not needed for digestion or good gut health.
The opposite: Most fibrous foods contain anti-nutrients such as lectins and phytons – nature’s toxins to stop animals from eating plants.
Why? These toxins can cause leaky gut (celiac disease), which means tiny slug-like bacteria attach to your intestinal wall and drill thousands of holes.
As a result, stool leaks into your bloodstream, causing unbearable pain and fever.
I had leaky gut for many years some 25 years ago, and it was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced.
The Bottom Line:
The human body does not need or want fiber. It wants meat, animal fat, and other animal products for optimal nutrition, health, strength, and longevity.
The Keto or Carnivore Diets are 100% sustainable forever. Once you transition, eliminate the cravings, and get used to it, you will be healthy and happy for life.
