Food Addiction: Carbs and Fiber and Sugar!
Food is one of the biggest addictions causing the most deaths from heart attacks and strokes today. Yet, you hear nothing about this from government authorities, on the news, or on social media.
The only folks you’ll get this unfortunate but true message from are people like me: modern nutritionists and medical doctors who’ve all come to the same conclusion.
“We’ve been misled for decades about the adverse health effects of meat and the vast benefits of a whole balanced diet containing plenty of vegetables, legumes, whole grains, low to no fat, and even a moderate amount of sugar.”
Around 80% of Americans now have metabolic syndrome, are obese, and are on their way (or there) to type 2 diabetes.

The cause of this appalling health deterioration during the past 50 years is the addiction to all forms of grains, carbohydrates, and sugar.
Carbohydrates & Fiber
People say carbs and fiber are essential nutrients when, in fact, they are mostly anti-nutrients.
They tell you to eat lots of fiber to aid your digestive system and make you feel satiated.
Where do you find the fiber? In whole-grain foods, vegetables, legumes, and fruit.
They fail to tell you that your gut does not require fiber to digest your food.
Carbs are an essential nutrient for energy and your body’s preferred fuel source — also not true!
Most of the carbs you’re consuming come from foods made with processed grains and added sugar. And that is bad news.
The feeling of satiety is short-lived. You quickly convert the fiber and carbs into glucose (sugar), burn it off, or move it to your fat cells.
If you’re on a high-carb, high-fiber diet, you’re on your way to becoming obese and a diabetic — that’s a fact!
It’s precisely that — the “sugar diet” that’s causing people to drop like flies from heart attacks and strokes.

What to say about sugar?
It’s terrible — worse than a class-A drug. Yet, most of the world’s population is “legally addicted” to it.

Any idea why sugar, which is basically a drug yet falsely classified as a food, is the #1 crop worldwide?
The answer is simple: They’ve misled you into believing sugar is acceptable and even necessary for a “whole balanced diet,” and got you hooked.
Now, let’s take a quick peak at the world’s top 25 crops:
→ 95% of what you read in that list are grains, sugars, and seed oils. Isn’t that something?
Protein & Fat
If you give it a chance, your body’s preferred fuel source is fat and protein.
The human body consists primarily of fat, protein, and water. Protein is the building block of life. Your cells are made of protein, which regenerates every night to keep you alive.
Without protein, there is no life. It’s that simple.
If you can drag yourself off your current damaging carbohydrate-sugar metabolism and convert it to fat-burning, you’ll soon transform your health from miserable to excellent.
