Let’s Speak the Truth about Keto & Vegan Diets.
When I say the truth, I mean scientifically, going back hundreds of years, not emotionally born out of a moral belief system. But first, who am I? I’m Rob, former Olympic Athlete, certified Health Coach and Keto Expert, Fitness Coach, Thai Boxing, and Meditation Trainer.
I write, a lot, about what’s on my mind in view of helping thousands of people regain their full health, fitness and live a long happy life. I’m going to get a lot of heat from angry vegans once I post this blog on social media, and that is exactly the problem.
Everyone is (or should be) allowed to think what they want, eat what they want and talk about their beliefs, without being hounded for doing so. Now, if you dare to make a comment on a vegan’s post, disagreeing with what foods they are advising to eat and even give a good reason why you disagree, 99.9% of the time they will go nuts at you. When I say nuts, I mean
My Message to Vegans.
This type of behavior is nothing short of extreme and these particular people are on a mission to “shove their belief system” down our necks, no matter what it takes. Is this decent and compassionate behavior towards your fellow humans? Not in my book. It’s wrong and should be stopped.
If you are compassionate towards animals, be at least the same to humans. You have every right to not eat animals and dairy, and eat whatever plant-based, processed grains, and sugars you wish, nobody will stop you or hound you.
However, please stop telling the remaining 97% of the
If so, you are going to have a very hard time getting the required nutrients and proteins that you need in your body on a daily basis, plus your food ain’t gonna be too interesting or tasty.
A Funny True Story.
During my time in Bali, I was starting to work for one of the top luxury resort groups, as their Health & Fitness Coach. Contract agreed and all ready to sign on that day. Then I met with the group’s Indonesian Spa Manager.
We were scheduled to have lunch together and she purposefully “trapped and attacked” me as I outlined above. Nobody thought to warn me that this lady was a vegan, not even the General Manager of their Indonesian group, who I was coaching personally!
There we are, eating our lunch, me a big salad with grilled fish and she a big plate of pasta with deep fried calamari. She was about 50 lbs overweight, agitated and stressed, plus she was rude to the waiters. As questions are asked, I respond freely and openly about what I do, explained the Primal – Keto Lifestyle and how important it is to consume a balanced amount of vegetables, meat, and fat. Once she got this out of me, the slashing and trashing began. Oh, really she said? Well, you are wrong. I’m a vegan and I can give you one hundred reasons why we should not eat meat, how killing animals is killing us and the planet. Your attitude is very bad and I don’t think you will be able to work with us as you do not have the ethical standards to work in ….. Resorts!
BOOOM. Just like that, this woman ruined several weeks of preparation work between me and the General Manager to set this partnership up. Nothing short of a vicious vegan attack on an innocent person only wanting to help people get healthy and fit.
Shocked I left the table and sought out the General Manager, whom she had already consulted with. He, being a very weak person, said, sorry, I can’t overrule the Spa Manager when it comes to Spa decisions.
Nice isn’t it, how a radical vegan will actually go out on a limb to ruin someone else’s life? Thankfully I had plenty more coals in the fire, so I moved on, and was happy ever after!

Food Sourcing.
Just as important as eating the right types of foods and avoiding the wrong and poisonous ones, is the correct sourcing of all foods. Organic, ethically grown and raised is absolutely essential.
Where I agree with the vegan community is that the general food industries’ conventionally produced animal meats are unacceptable, due to inhumanely raised animals, which have been fed GMO, antibiotics, growth hormones and sprayed with pesticides.
Besides the awful treatment of these animals, all of these poisons are of course absorbed by the animal and the meat that is then sold to the consumers in supermarkets and 99% of restaurants worldwide! It’s a massive scandal and it’s horrific, yes. BUT, the same is true (in a lesser form) for plants.
Conventionally grown plants contain GMO (Monsanto) and are constantly sprayed with pesticides. All of this is then sold to the innocent and unsuspecting consumer. It is scientifically proven and logical in any case that these chemicals cause all
Our Primal Ancestors and what they ate.
Here are a few excerpts from an article by National Geographic with a link to the article. Please take the time to read it in full. “A Stone Age diet “is the one and the only diet that ideally fits our genetic makeup,” writes Loren Cordain, an evolutionary nutritionist at Colorado State University, in his book
I suggest vegans read this book and think.
Besides the very important point above about the evolution of larger brains, in summary, we know and can say with certainty that our Primal Ancestors some 2.5 million years ago ate from the land, namely plants, nuts and seeds, and animals.
They were natural-born hunters and gatherers, often had two or more wives, and 10 plus children to feed. Does anybody believe (thinking with pure logic here) that our Primal Ancestors would have survived the harsh conditions they lived in and that we would still be here today if they only ate plants, nuts, and seeds? Not likely.
The Final Scrambled Egg:
Grains and processed grains simply didn’t exist 2.5 million years ago and there were no supermarkets! Human Evolution and the Food Chain is real! Our ancestors ate what they could get their hands on and that would be a lot of animals. Rest assured, plenty of animals got their paws and teeth on them too, which is why their lifespans were shorter by the way, not because of their diet.
Sadly, the mass food industry and government agencies have caused a food epidemic by allowing the food industry to make horrible sugar-laden and poisonous foods, and then to lie to the consumers about what they are actually being told to eat. Be that fast food, all processed foods such as cereals, oats, pasta, bread, rice, sugars, etc. Think about this; 95% of the space in a supermarket is covered by processed “man-made” foods. only 5% if that, by meat and plants.
The food industry has caused an epidemic making people sick and obese. Governments allow this without regulation to benefit from the taxation on the massive revenues and profits made by the industry. The same governments then benefit from taxation on the medical industry, pharmaceutical industry, and the insurance industry, all of which are booming, thanks to the sick population the food and beverage industries have created, sanctioned no less by the government!
