Sugar, sugar, honey, honey, you are so sexy; I love you and will never let you go!

There’s a song that goes something like that, talking about forever love and never breaking up. Sadly, when it comes to humans, that’s mostly not so true.

Break up, make up, and do it all over again. That’s how it usually turns out.

If we talk about food and drink, on the other hand, that’s another story — once you fall in love with certain foods and beverages, it’s near impossible to fall out with them.

At least that’s what you think. And that’s what we call “food addiction.”

More specifically, you’re addicted to: Sugar, carbs, grains, and anything made from them!

My clients’ biggest complaint and trouble when starting their new keto lifestyle is giving up the staple foods they’ve grown up with and wrongfully thinking they are healthy.

Here’s a little list of foods & beverages marketed as “heart-healthy:” 

Cereals — oatmeal — white bread — whole grain bread — pasta — noodles — rice — legumes — cookies — bagels — cakes — packaged snacks — beer — sodas — fruit juices, and so on.

In reality, these food and drinks are your one-way ticket to contracting heart disease and a stroke! 

Don’t believe me? 

All you need to do is walk through a supermarket and note how much pre-made packaged goods made from grains, sugar, and legumes are on sale.

It’s around a whopping 85% these days!

“Fresh, real food’” like meat, fish, seafood, eggs, and vegetables, represent only around 10% to 15%.

Next, check out your fellow shoppers’ shopping carts. 95% of them are filled to the hilt with all of this packaged and sugar-laden junk food that makes you sick, develop diabetes, and then become obese.

The solution takes 30 days and is known as becoming FAT ADAPTED!

If you’re a food addict, you’re addicted to pretty much all the foods and drinks I mentioned above.

You’ve also most likely been eating and drinking them for decades, thinking they are perfectly healthy and the norm.

You can’t be blamed for being wrong.

The food industry giants are ruthless with their fake marketing and get away with murder! 

I’m not kidding here either — their foods wreak havoc on the body and mind over time.

If you make up your mind, 30 days are all it takes for your metabolism to transform from carbohydrate sugar burning to fat burning.

Once that occurs, step by step, you’ll become a lean fat burning, muscle machine.

Going cold turkey is the only way off the “food-drug wagon!”

It’s like illicit and dangerous addictive drugs such as cocaine, heroin, or crack.

If you keep returning for a quick calming shot of drugs, you’ll never ditch the habit.

We all know that’s true.

  • If you’re a drug addict — you must go cold turkey and get used to it
  • If you’re an alcoholic — the only way is to jump on the sober train and stay there for good
  • If you’re a food addict — you must avoid the nasty junk foods staring you in the face wherever you go

I know — it’s hard. The stuff is everywhere, littering the streets you drive or walk along.

It starts with the hundreds of fast food, donuts, ice cream, and coffee shop chains that sell 98% sugary junk.

Then, you’ve got your cozy Mom and Pop pizza joints, bagel shops, hot dog stands, and more.

The temptation to cave and enjoy these comfort foods made from toxic grains, sugar, and seed oils is everywhere.

Just SAY NO! It’s the only way.

The solution: Eat clean, unprocessed, unpackaged, and natural foods

Cleaning up your act and eating real food instead of the “good old junk food” is the only way to get out of the pressure chamber, heal from the inside out, lose weight, and regain your full mental strength.

Meat, seafood, fish, and eggs are the most vital nutrients for humans.

The myth that meat causes terrible cholesterol levels and heart disease has long since been debunked by “real science,” even if the message hasn’t sunk into the majority’s minds yet.

If you spend only 1 month mainly eating animal protein and fats, cook your food in butter, and sprinkle in a few vegetables, herbs, and spices, you will be fat-adapted and no longer a food junkie!

Remember this:

  • Butter is gold
  • Meat is platinum

Eat more meat for a stronger heartbeat and a happy and healthy life.

Final Thoughts

Some folks disagree with what I say about food and all of the “food lies” out there. And that’s ok — I can’t save the whole world.

But I can do my damn best to save as many people as possible from ill health, diabetes, obesity, and premature death, and I will relentlessly continue to do.
