I’ve experimented and found the best fit for me, and possibly made it more enticing for others to try.
I’ve never waivered or ever considered going back to the “Standard American Diet” (SAD) or the “Balanced Western Diet.” I also never had one single “cheat day” in 3650 days!
There have been times when I fluctuated and advocated going to the extreme to achieve your long-term goals for your health, body composition, and mental clarity.
What is an “extreme diet?”
- The vegans avoid all forms of meat and animal products.
- The carnivores avoid everything but animal meats, fats, eggs, and animal products.
- The third diet, the most popular one consumed by the vast majority of the world’s population – the SAD or SWD!
All 3 diets are extreme, yet the first two are practiced with gigantic conviction and confidence while accusing each other of being wrong, selfish, harming the climate, and the planet, and of course, killing animals.
‼️The folks in Category 3 simply don’t care or think about what they put in their mouths‼️
The “killing animals” part lands on both sides of the aisle. Most vegans aren’t aware of the crop and plant growing process and how many small animals are killed because of it.
The most extreme is the classic Standard American or Western Diet accepted as the norm. The reason is, that many food groups in this diet cause weight gain, accelerated aging, diabetes, and obesity that can lead to premature death.
The main causes of premature death for some decades now are stroke and heart attack brought on by diabetes and obesity, which are the result of a bad diet.
And guess what that “bad diet” is called? You got it!
The Standard American Diet or The Whole Balanced Diet, which the corrupt food industry promotes, as do most government health, nutrition, and pharma associations.
Why do these high-profile agencies, institutions, and the food industry promote an unhealthy diet?
Well, at first it was down to shoddy research and science from decades ago, which most still believe to be true. The next reason is the explosion of the food industry, which, by the way, is largely owned by Philip Morris (the world’s largest cigarette manufacturer).
Based on the government’s recommended food pyramid, mostly created largely by The Seventh-Day Adventist Church, the food industry saw the opportunity to invent thousands of cheap highly processed, high-carb, low-protein foods and added sugar to them too.
The result has led to the food industry’s enormous growth over the last 3 decades, vast profits, happy shareholders, and government tax coffers.
Those are the real and only reasons this charade was allowed to continue and still is.
I’m not asking you to just believe me, please read an excerpt from a recent article published in www.knack.be with the truth about the food industry, from Biologist Nicklas Brendborg.
“What you didn’t know about factory food: ‘Even the fresh chicken in the store contains added salt’
Chicken producers often use a technique called plumping, in which they inject saltwater into the meat.”
“Four industries kill at least 7,000 people a day in Europe.” That is the unmistakable message from the WHO. This concerns the tobacco and alcohol industries, the fossil industry and the food industry. The Danish biologist Nicklas Brendborg wrote a disturbing book about the latter.”
“Tobacco, alcohol, ultra-processed foods and fossil fuels are partially or fully responsible for 2.7 million deaths in the wider European region every year. This is evident from a new report from the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO speaks of ‘deceptive tactics’ to influence policy, such as political lobbying, advertising aimed at children and the spread of misleading information.” Nicklas Brendborg, Danish Biologist.

The truth about healthy foods that don’t make you add weight and become sick is simple:
Eat real natural unprocessed and sugar-free foods!

About the “Extremes”
Going “extreme vegan” and eating only grains, plants, and sugar is not a healthy diet.
The meat-eater diet alone isn’t the best either as it’s lacking in minerals and vitamins as well as other important nutrients.
The Standard American Diet is the worst of the extremes as it literally kills people. Well, so can the vegan diet from lack of protein, and healthy fats (Omega 3 Fatty Acids) causing malnutrition.
My diet consists of a mix of the healthiest foods, by eliminating all toxic, inflammatory, and sugary foods.
For the best health results, I recommend:
Meat, seafood, fish, eggs, dairy, such as butter, cheese, and heavy cream, coconut oil for cooking and drinking a tablespoon a day, lectin and python-free vegetables, which are the cruciferous veggies, tomatoes (they can prevent men from developing prostate cancer), onions, garlic, red chili peppers (these are loaded with antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins), fruits with moderation, dark chocolate, water with fresh lemon juice, avocado, fruit, and coconut water smoothies (sugar-free), coffee (black or with cream), honey, nuts, and seeds.
I didn’t used to eat any vegetables or fruits, but now I have for a few months and I feel much better again.
If you follow my advice that’s great, but if it’s too stringent for you then it’s also not a problem to enjoy some of your favorite grain-based foods, such as bread, pasta, pizza, or cereal at times.
If you do, I strongly suggest you follow the 80/20 rule:
• 80% Protein, fat, and animal products
• 20% Carbohydrates
If you follow this principle you will lose weight, get strong, not fall ill, and enjoy your favorite foods without feeling deprived, stressed, and restricted.
This will also not allow your diet to “stress you,” which avoids excessive cortisol production.
Too much of our stress hormone causes heart disease. So the last thing we want is to stress about food too!
Final Thought
“To each his own.”
However, if you study and understand what all foods and beverages do to the body and mind, both good and bad, you will be much wiser.
Just be a little mindful about what you consume.
Then you can make educated decisions based on your preferences and knowledge about what and how you eat and do not have to enter the “extreme camp.”
Finally, the popular US Carnivore-based US Medical Doctor, Paul Saladino, pretty much follows the same diet as me.
