We can argue as much as we want about diets and which are healthy or not.
But one thing is for sure — the top chefs worldwide cue up at 6 am in the local markets to buy the top quality meats, fish, and seafood.
Real Food!
Why is that? The answer is simple.
Their main dishes are created by turning animal protein into a super high-quality, delicious meal, accompanied by a few veggies and a miraculous sauce, which is also mostly meat-based!
Please don’t be fooled by the mainstream media or the food industry. They are the top-notch restaurants best guests.
They wine and dine worldwide and stuff themselves with tasty animal protein while drinking $300 bottles of red wine.
That’s how it is. I’m not making it up. If you don’t believe me, go and take a look at a Michelin-Star restaurant and observe who is eating there and what is on their plates.
You will find vegetable-based soups and starters.
Meat, Fish, Seafood, and Eggs are Real and Healthy Foods!
However, the main course will always be meat, fish, or seafood, prepared with incredible passion by hard-working chefs who pour their hearts into serving their patron’s wonderful meals and unforgettable times.
I suggest you watch the movie “Burnt” starring Bradly Cooper and Siena Miller, to gain insight into what goes on in the world’s top-rated kitchens.
Chefs, cooks, helpers, and dishwashers work under incredible stress daily to satisfy their customers’ pallets. And they do that by serving animal-based food.
I have no idea if there’s a vegan restaurant with any Michelin stars. I haven’t checked and don’t care.
What I do know is that dishes prepared yourself or at top restaurants require top-quality meat, fish, or seafood.
There are too many restaurants I love and have visited over time to mention here.
But I will mention 1 — NOBU.
I’ve eaten at almost all of their establishments across the world, and I even once met Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa in his Hong Kong restaurant.
It was a wonderful experience.
There I was, sitting at my small table with my companion. I spotted him perched with what seemed like intense businessmen having a heated discussion.
What did I do?
I walked right over, and I said:
“Hello, Master Chef Matsuhisa — thank you for having my guest and me and serving such a delightful meal. I adore your food creations. I will come back again and again.”
I did not expect what followed next, considering I had rudely interrupted his party and guests.
He stood up, bowed, and thanked me from his heart. Then he asked me to sit down, and we drank a bottle of Sake together.
My friend and I moved to his table. We then ate more together and had the night of our lives, eating fish, seafood, and meat.

Final Thoughts
If you care about food and show gratitude, you can overcome all social hurdles.
The best and most incredible part of this story is this:
When I asked for the bill, the boss said:
“It’s on the house for this gentleman.”
What a gentle, kind, and caring man Mr. Matsuhisa is. I will never forget that night.
A true life story.
