Eating meat, fish, seafood, and eggs from clean, organic sources is the best thing you can do for your health.
While the debate about whether eating meat is good for humans continues to rage on, it’s long since been debunked that meat is unhealthy and causses heart disease or strokes!
That was all down to shoddy research by scientists years ago paid off by the food giants to help them promote their nasty carb and sugar-laden processed foods to you in masses!
And that is why 80% of the worlds population are overweight, or obese, and sick!
Evolution
We have eaten meat from the beginning of humanity millions of years ago.
Hunting and gathering are what our ancient ancestors had to do to survive. And that is what we humans still are today – hunters and gatherers! Luckily don’t have to do it as our ancient ancestors did. Instead, we have the convenience of butchers, fishermen, and farmers to catch and prepare our heart healthy food!
Our Primal Ancestors would catch, kill, and eat every animal they could get their hands on from the water, land, or sky.
Nobody told them to do this — they followed their natural animal instinct.
It was normal to hunt, kill, and eat animals — it’s human nature!
Modern Times
The modern world and civilization changed everything. Mostly for the better, sometimes for the worse.
You and I remain born hunters and gatherers, which we apply to several aspects of life.
Note: The saying, “we are all different, is inaccurate.”
We are all 99.9% identical biological twins. Your body works the same as mine.
That means we can all eat and thrive on the same things.
Protein & Fat
Our primary vital nutrients are protein, healthy saturated animal fats, water, and omega-3 fatty acids.
You find these heart-healthy nutrients mostly in animal meats, fish, seafood, and eggs.
Do you know your body and brain are mostly made of protein, fat, and water?
Protein is the building block of life. Without protein, there’s no life. We cannot survive. It’s that simple!
Mothers Milk!
Babies aren’t drawn to their mother’s breast milk because it’s tasty. Their instinct, smell, and senses make them.
Breast milk is protein-rich, high-fat milk, which is your baby’s essential nutrient to survive, grow, and thrive.
Go to the Source: Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised Meats, Fish, and Seafood
An important rule of thumb to remember for health-conscious shopping is:
The closer you can get to buying from the source, the better.
→ You win if you purchase your weekly meats from your local farmer or farmers market.
→ If you live in a coastal area, buy seafood and fish from fishermen or a fish market, and win again.
If you follow these simple guidelines, you achieve several important sociological, economic, and health benefits:
- Support local farmers and fishermen over big industry
- Promote and grow your local economy
- Enable others to access the same suppliers and benefits
- Your animal meats are free of antibiotics and growth hormones
- You protect and promote healthy and fulfilled life cycles of pasture-raised and grass-fed animals
- Nourish your body and mind with the clean, real food
Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO)
The “food industry giants” use these unethical animal farming methods, which is what you want to avoid at all cost!
–> Their only aim is to increase production, lower costs, and boost profits.
–> The quality of the meat and how they treat the animals is of no interest to them.
–> It’s only about business, create demand — satisfy supply — repeat.
–> The food giants have absolutely no interest in your health! remember that!
What is CAFO?
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, conventional meat is raised in industrial farms called Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO).
As the word — Concentrated — suggests, they aim for mass production in minimal space and time.
CAFOs mostly have overcrowded living conditions and feed the animals corn, soy, wheat, and other subsidized commodities.
These foods are not what cows, pigs, and other animals usually eat and are unhealthy for the animals.
They are pro-inflammatory nutrients that promote rapid growth to kill the animals and sell the meat as soon as possible.
“Subsidized” means the farm factories buy these commodities at very low prices, boosting profits.
Finally, antibiotics and growth hormones are regularly added to the feed.
The goal is to prevent and treat infections and accelerate growth.
There you have all the reasons you should do your best to avoid CAFO meats and buy local.
The Heath Benefits of Grass-Fed or Pasture-Raised Meats
Let’s look at grass-fed beef:
Red meat has many health benefits. One-quarter pound of cooked grass-fed ground beef contains the following nutrients, according to the USDA:
- Calories: 190
- Total fat: 11 g
- Saturated fat: 4.5 g
- Cholesterol: 69.4 mg
- Sodium: 69.4 mg
- Total carbs: 0 g
- Protein: 23 g
It also contains vitamins A and E and anti-inflammatory antioxidants.
In simple terms: Eating natural red meat, or any meat, fish, seafood, and eggs, build robust metabolic, mental health, and a robust immune system!

Final Thoughts
Choosing the right healthy food is easier than you may think.
Start by removing all food items that cause inflammation, weight gain, and potential illnesses.
Those are:
- Grains and everything made from them
- Sugar
- Seed/Vegetable oils
Once you’ve done that, your shopping list becomes much smaller, 90% of your supermarket irrelevant, and your food costs will go way down too!
