Simple and healthy sugar and grain-free recipe, with almond flour.
We add strawberries or any other berries for a little sweetness. Berries are antioxidant-rich and low in fructose (natural sugar). And they packed with vitamins, which makes them a healthy and natural sweetener for our almond flour keto pasties. You can use all kinds of different berries or berry mixed with these pasties.
Adding dark chocolate chips for taste, with a little heavy cream to finish, makes these pasties delicious. The heavy cream, whipped or runny, ads pleasure, and healthy fat, which is what we want with the Keto diet, and these lovely pasties are not fattening!
Ingredients:
- 4 Tbls Almond Flour
- 2/4 Tsp Tapioca Flour
- 1 Egg, whole
- 1/2 Tbls Butter
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Powder
- 20 ml Water
Filling:
- Strawberries, diced or sliced
- Dark Chocolate Chips
Dipping:
- Full Fat Fruit Yogurt
- Dark Chocolate Chips
- Heavy Cream
Instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until the consistency is doughy.
- Make thin palm-sized patties.
- Add strawberries and chocolate chips and fold into a pasty.
- Compress the edges with a fork.
- Melt the butter at low temperature in a frying pan.
- Fry at medium heat for 2 minutes on both sides.
- Serve and Enjoy this healthy breakfast, lunch, or dinner treat!
