I’m tired of the never-ending battle against misinformation from uneducated people about carbohydrates and grains.

It gets to me every time I click on something claiming carbs are great and we need them to survive — this is absolutely not true.

Why do these people push carbs and tell you to stop blaming them for your poor health?

“Stop blaming carbs for what seed oils, endocrine disruptors, and pesticides did.”

What?

Yep, I read that on Twitter today. Interestingly this confusing message was sent by a Carnivore.

I wonder if he’s joking, as he definitely hasn’t touched carbs in years, or what point he’s trying to make.

I believe it is something quite simple — attention-seeking.

A blanket statement saying carbs are not bad for you from a carnivore with over 200K followers will rattle some feathers and raise confusion.

I guess that’s how you promote and build your Twitter followers today — making sensationalist comments that pop, are liked, and retweeted.

Sad, but true.

Seed oils and pesticides are terrible for your health — but they don’t make you fat — instead, they give you cancer!

What are Carbohydrates?

Carbs are a source of energy for the human body derived mostly from grains.

Once in your system, they are quickly digested and converted to glucose.

That’s your primary fuel source that makes most people fat and sick — if you are stuck on the carb and sugar-burning diet.

What is Glucose?

Sugar.

Yes, that’s right. Glucose, like fructose, honey, and other words ending with “ose,” converts to sugar.

You then burn this sticky mess flowing through your bloodstream for fuel.

Sounds good so far? All normal, you think.

There are 2 catches:

1 — You consume too many carbohydrates per meal, leaving excess sugar in your bloodstream.

That’s a big problem. It can’t linger there — it’s toxic — your system must remove it from your blood.

Next, your pancreas is called to action pumping out the insulin — pushing the glucose out of your blood and into your fat cells — known as triglycerides.

2 — Your excess glucose is turned into fat and locked away — it becomes inaccessible, meaning you can’t remove it — monthly weight gain is the result and potentially metabolic syndrome.

→ Insulin Resistance → You become a Type 2 Diabetic as your pancreas ceases to function.

Unless… you change your diet and switch to Fat Burning.

What is Fat Burning?

As the term says, you burn fat, not glucose, for energy.

You do that by completely removing all carbohydrates and sugars from your food, drink, and body!

After around 4 weeks, your system realizes that you aren’t “shooting it up” with toxic carb-based foods and glucose.

You force it to find another fuel source — your fat cells — the body and brain’s preferred fuel source.

Let’s remember the human body is made of protein, fat, and water.

That is why we are meant to consume just that — protein, fat, and water.

Not highly processed carb and sugar-added grain-based foods!

Once you convert your metabolism to fat-burning, you will lose all excess weight, feel and look great, have constant all-day energy, a clear mind, and sleep like a baby.

Final Thoughts

Carbohydrates are not bad for you!?

Oh no? Processed carbs are a killer and the worst “fake food” you can put in your mouth for your metabolic and mental health.

Fact: Humans didn’t eat carbohydrates in the early days— only meat, fish, seafood, eggs, and what they could forage from the ground.

Grains didn’t exist until 20.000 years ago when people started moving together and settling in villages.

That’s also when illnesses began to rise dramatically. Any clues?

Humanity used to consume 100% natural food and drink (water) with no grains or sugar.

If you do the same, you will become much healthier, happy, fat-free, lean, and possibly live longer.

If you suffer from anxiety or depression, that will vanish too.

So, what are you waiting for?
